I’m Dwight James Munger III—a writer, designer, digital creator, and consultant in Emmett, Idaho.
I create stories, images, and digital experiences that connect, challenge, comfort, and make people pause. My work brings storytelling, design, technology, and lived experience together. I believe digital spaces should feel human, accessible, and authentic.
My life has crossed many worlds: public service, nursing, emergency response, disability, recovery, caregiving, and creative work. Those experiences shape how I see justice, power, and the human beings behind every headline.
A catastrophic car crash cost me my right hand and part of my right arm. As someone who was naturally right-handed, I had to relearn everyday tasks and find new ways to work. Surgeries, rehabilitation, and rebuilding made accessibility deeply personal.
I’m a gay man, an amputee, a survivor, and a storyteller. I’ve made mistakes, learned from them, and kept going. My writing explores dignity, trauma, recovery, resilience, and the complicated beauty of starting again—sometimes through reflection, sometimes through uncomfortable truth, and sometimes through sharp satire.
The Unbalanced Scale brings that perspective to injustice, abuses of power, and hypocrisy, with humanity and humor throughout.
Service remains my anchor. I care about accessibility, mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and the everyday compassion that makes someone feel seen.
“Say or do something kind for someone right now simply because you can.”
